When we partnered with this skincare brand in April 2020,
their monthly revenue had plateaued in the low four figures. Navigating Amazon’s complex and constantly evolving platform had been a challenge that resulted in inefficient PPC structures, leaving a significant portion of the potential untapped. At that time, this brand was trying to stay above water in a fiercely competitive market dominated by established brands with far larger ad budgets.

The Strategy
Our long-term partnership with this brand was a phased approach that built success step by step. We began by establishing a solid foundation, restructuring their inefficient PPC campaigns and creating A+ Content to enhance brand identity and storytelling.
Next, we focused on enhancing their visual presence, recommending and integrating professional video content into their listings and advertising. This led to a focus on conversion optimization and expansion, where we continuously optimized their listings and strategically developed a subscription model to build recurring revenue.
We then implemented a multi-channel expansion strategy, integrating new ad types and using advanced placement modifiers to target competitor products. This culminated in upgrading to premium content and implementing DSP remarketing to convert one-time buyers into long-term customers.
Through strategic phases of campaign optimization, content enhancement, subscription building, and algorithmic advantage, we’ve achieved consistent performance improvement while maintaining profitability. These results are particularly remarkable in the highly competitive skincare category, where high CPCs (often $2.50-$4.00 per click), intense competition from established brands, and complex customer decision journeys make maintaining efficient advertising metrics exceptionally challenging.
