When a premium travel brand approached us, they were struggling

to justify price points that were nearly twice those of their competitors in a highly price-sensitive market. To make matters worse, the field was already crowded but faced a continual influx of new entrants, always with cheaper prices. Competitors vied for the same keyword phrases to describe very different products, adding to marketplace confusion. 

Despite spending $18,000 to $22,000 per month on advertising, the travel brand relied heavily on constant coupons and seasonal discounts without clear conversion benefits, even planning to take losses on major shopping events like Prime Day and Black Friday.

The Strategy

We began by eliminating all money-losing deals and coupons after data showed they had minimal impact on conversion. We then strategically raised prices by $4 per unit on main products.

Next, we reinforced the brand’s premium identity across all channels. We emphasized quality messaging over price and leveraged social proof by highlighting the brand’s 10,000+ reviews as a trust indicator. We also implemented a comprehensive cross-platform strategy, using tools like PixelMe for Google-to-Amazon campaigns and Amazon DSP for remarketing to increase repeat purchases and target competing products.

This holistic approach transformed the brand’s marketplace presence, leading to significantly higher profitability while maintaining a strong market position.
